CN is a premium railroad committed to safety and service, aiming to shape the railroad of the future. The Intern, Market Analyst will support the Automotive team in enhancing efficiency by organizing processes, analyzing data, and creating optimized dashboards using Power BI.
Responsibilities
Develop a Power BI solution that consolidates rail data with all non-line haul components, including associated costs, rates, and industry forecasts, into a single, centralized dashboard
Help organize and refine processes for better clarity and efficiency
Analyze data to identify trends and insights that can drive decision-making
Assist in transforming important contract details into digital formats for easier access and management
Support the enhancement of dashboards to improve data visualization and reporting
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with Power BI or similar analytics platforms
Interest in processes, workflows and data management
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Technology, Computer Science)
