They are seeking an intern to support creative content communications by creating videos, articles, and media content while collaborating with various teams to enhance the Volvo culture and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
Supporting plant objectives in creation of videos, articles and materials – with validation of information through interaction with employees and Communications Team
Build on campaigns with creative writing, videography and photography to support journey to engage and create sense of Volvo Family
Collaborate with Communications team, business teams and plant personal to accent/inspire positive Volvo cultural for better business results
Create and optimize engaging content by assisting, developing and creating media content
Utilize MicroSoft bundles: Indesign, production software, basic knowledge of systems including PCs, photography, video and plasmas, printing and production of signs and banners
Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading skills, and speaking
Ability to utilize photography, videography and to produce video for inhouse and social media
Ability to tailor communication style based on the platform and audience
Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
Excellent interpersonal skills with high professionalism
Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of professional Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube accounts, including advertising opportunities
Basic knowledge of Photoshop and/or Canva preferred, but not required
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be pursuing a business, marketing, or communication at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the intern program
Minimum GPA of 2.75
Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading skills, and speaking
