Calgon Carbon Corporation is currently looking for a dynamic, motivated college student for their 2026 Internship program. The Marketing and Business Development Intern will develop a basic understanding of the target industrial markets for activated carbon and execute plans in coordination with the Marketing Manager to define customers and develop distinct scopes in each target market.
Responsibilities
Develop a good understanding of activated carbon and target markets
Identify marketing literature needs and develop new content
Competitive analysis
Use prospective tools or databases to define potential customers
Execute phone and email customer outreach programs
Perform initial steps to develop customer relationships
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
All applicants must be authorized to work in the US
Candidates must be willing to comply with pre-employment testing
Working towards a bachelor's degree or higher in: Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field, Marketing, or Business Management
Punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to change
Self-motivated and able to acquire new skills quickly
Skilled in analyzing problems in a systematic and timely manner
Ability to look for creative ways in offering new approaches
Self-sufficient, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking
