Shiseido is one of the world’s top beauty companies with a rich portfolio of global brands. They are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Hajimari Summer Internship program, which offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle in Global Communications, including PR and influencer relations. Interns will support brand initiatives and conduct competitive research while gaining valuable experience in the beauty industry.
Responsibilities
Support brand initiatives & seedings
Assist, when applicable, with event/activation logistics (packing and/or shipping product, assembling gift bags, coordinating car service, etc.)
Log and monitor low product inventory in product closets
Inventory new product shipments, unpack and organize closet
Coordinate product and special packaging send-outs to internal and external recipients, inclusive of securing branded collateral and organizing courier service (messenger, FedEx, etc.)
Assist with competitor awareness/best practices (i.e., competitor press coverage, social media, seeding packages, etc.) under PR Assistant
Research and share relevant industry news to Global Communications team
Monitor NARS brand media and influencer mentions
Utilize department tools for tracking of influencer success and KPIs
Assist with tracking paid creator campaign results
Maintain Influencer and MUA contact databases for events and communications
Qualification
Required
Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor's degree
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
