Sherwin-Williams Company engages in the development, manufacture, distribution, and sale of paints, coatings, and related products. The Finance Communications Year-Round Intern will provide hands-on experience in Sherwin Business Services, focusing on Change Management to support a global Finance and HR organization.
Responsibilities
Assist with the drafting, editing, and proofreading of professional communications including emails, user guides, FAQs, intranet site content, training resources, newsletters, and presentation materials
Support the SBS Operations team with creation and maintenance of databases, SharePoint sites, PowerPoint presentations, process and procedure documentation, and training/corporate videos
Assist with the collection, uploading, and maintenance of process and procedure documentation to ensure quality standards and practices are consistent, up-to-date and available to our global network of employees
Project management experience
Cross-functional Collaboration
Exposure to senior leadership
Development of professional network by collaborating across finance department(s)
Enhancing financial and business acumen through skill development
Experience in process improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
Must be enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or other business-related fields at the time of the internship
Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred
Be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college or university at the start of the internship program
Have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)
Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.
Previous experience in the Sherwin-Williams Corporate Finance Internship Program
