Ericsson is a leading technology and telecommunications company, and they are seeking an Event Planning and Operations Intern. This role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in event management and marketing operations, including planning, execution, and performance tracking of various events.
Responsibilities
Support the planning and coordination of in-person and virtual events, including executive briefings, customer workshops, trade shows, and internal events.
Assist in managing event logistics such as vendor coordination, venue preparation, scheduling, and stakeholder communications.
Assist with the development and maintenance of marketing budgets, processes, project calendars, and operational workflows.
Support cross-team coordination to ensure consistent alignment across marketing and events.
Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and internal communications.
Collect and analyze data on event attendance, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
Support tracking of marketing metrics and campaign impact in collaboration with analytics and operations teams.
May Support social Media, digital promotion, or internal communications tied to events.
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in an undergraduate program (graduate preferred) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or related fields.
Strong organizational and time management skills to balance multiple projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
2.7+ GPA
Available for a full-time internship for 12 weeks & beyond.
Actively enrolled in an accredited university program on a full-time basis.
Preferred
Familiarity with event planning, marketing platforms, or project management tools.
Interest in technology and telecommunications sectors.
