Techtronic Industries Inc. is a global leader in power tools, outdoor equipment, and floorcare products. They are seeking an Event Marketing Specialist to drive sales for their RYOBI outdoor power tool equipment, collaborating closely with the Field Sales team and gaining hands-on experience in sales and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional sales and service to customers, showcasing knowledge and enthusiasm for RYOBI® Outdoor products
Support and execute strategic brand marketing initiatives and in-store promotional activities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, TTI management, and The Home Depot team
Apply skills learned through the TTI Training Program to achieve results and drive performance
Lead in-store product training, demonstrations, and events to educate store associates, management, and customers
Plan and execute engaging product demonstration events
Ensure shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing and collaborate with the store to secure additional merchandising space
Collaborate closely with the Field Sales Rep (FSR) team to drive in-store sales, execute promotions, and ensure a seamless customer experience
Qualification
Required
Access to a vehicle for the length of the 4-month work term
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
Availability to work a Wednesday through Sunday schedule
Ability to safely lift and transport objects up to 50 pounds
Comfortable reaching, lifting overhead, and ascending/descending ladders as required to handle product
Self-motivated, collaborative, and organized, with strong planning and time management skills
Proficiency with common software applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
