G-III Apparel Group designs, manufactures, and markets apparel including outerwear, dresses, sportswear, and swimwear. They are seeking a highly data-driven and organized Digital Merchandising Intern to contribute to product and sales initiatives within their Wholesale/Marketplace E-Commerce team.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales teams to implement product assortment plans and execute retail strategies on Amazon, Macy’s Marketplace, etc. - this includes creating, launching, updating product listings and managing inventory levels
Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns on the site, including coordinating product updates, discounts and offers, as well as creating landing pages and banners to support campaign initiatives
Collaborate with relevant partners to optimize the online presentation of products to maximize conversion rates and enhance the overall customer experience
Regularly monitor and analyze site performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates and sales, while identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance the user experience and drive sales growth
Analyze sales data on weekly basis in order to impact key KPIs
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Design, Merchandising, Retail, Finance or related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiasm for product and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and strategies.
Preferred
Experience in the fashion industry is a plus
Preferably worked in cross functional organization structure
Proficiency in MS Word/PowerPoint programs. Ability to create high impact presentations
