Staples is seeking a creative and enthusiastic intern to join their Marketing Promotions team for the summer. The role focuses on supporting customer bonding initiatives to enhance engagement and brand loyalty, including executing campaigns and analyzing performance.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing customer bonding campaigns (e.g., personalized outreach, loyalty programs, giveaways)
Support the development of promotional materials and messaging across email, social media, and other channels
Help coordinate customer appreciation events or experiences
Monitor campaign performance and compile reports with insights and recommendations
Conduct research on customer engagement trends and competitor strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Creative, Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising
Provide administrative support as needed
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Must be a rising junior, enrolled as a full-time student carrying a minimum of 12 college credits
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creative thinker with a passion for customer experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Excel, Canva or Figma, Klaviyo or email marketing platforms is a plus
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
