Hexcel Corporation is a global leader in advanced lightweight composite solutions, seeking a Communications Summer Intern to join their Global Corporate and Marketing Communications team. This internship offers hands-on experience in business communications, focusing on employee and executive communications, brand, and marketing activities.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the creation (drafting, editing, proofreading, and finalizing for publication) of a variety of communications to Hexcel employees, including written and digital communication mediums
Assisting with executive communications such as leadership messages, presentations, and speaking engagements
Creating social media content
Establishing, tracking and compiling metrics to gauge effectiveness of communications programs and initiatives
Preparing conference and trade show materials
Support various projects and perform additional tasks and duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Junior or higher level in a bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university in the field of communications, public relations, strategic/business communications or related field of study
Strong storytelling and content creation abilities with a keen eye for detail
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Experience with Microsoft Office products – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Copilot
Understanding of AP Stylebook writing style
Familiarity with digital creations tools and platforms. (Adobe Creative Suite preferred.)
