Tenaris is a global manufacturer and supplier of steel pipes for the energy industry, and they are seeking a Communications Intern to support their Communications Department. The role involves assisting with internal communication initiatives, content management for the intranet, and supporting employee events and digital campaigns.
Responsibilities
Manage and publish content for the Tenaris intranet and local social media channels
Support employee events and town halls, including invitation design, photo and video production, merchandising coordination, and logistics
Assist in producing the mill newspaper and digital newsletters by gathering information, coordinating content development, designing layouts, and facilitating dissemination
Contribute to digital campaigns and internal communication initiatives as needed
Conduct basic research and data analysis to enhance communication and content strategies
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Creative Media, or a related field
Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Meta (Facebook/Instagram), WhatsApp, and internal communication tools such as SharePoint and email platforms
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and message consistency in English (Spanish is a plus)
Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging and visually appealing content
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for various audiences
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multicultural team
Organizational skills and a strong sense of commitment to assigned tasks
Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with vendors when needed
Strong analytical and research skills
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Availability to work onsite, part-time (20 hours per week) during the school year
Preferred
Experience in social media management is an advantage
