CSL is a global biotherapeutics leader driven by their promise to save lives. The Communications Intern will gain professional experience in internal and external communications while assisting with event planning, community outreach, and customer service.
Assist with preparation and implementation of special events, including developing promotional materials
Provide writing support for materials including website, social media, electronic bulletin boards, stories, and CSL NOW. May also assist with updating and maintaining these communication vehicles
Assist with fundraising events with the United Giving Committee for local not-for-profit organizations along with patient organizations
Assist with clerical work such as invoice processing
Coordinate community outreach tours, check presentations, and photos
Support development of communication plans for initiatives
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a 4-year university with progression toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in communications, journalism or related field
Microsoft Office suite skills required
Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills required
Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism
Demonstrates acceptance of responsibility, shows pride in work performed, demonstrates flexibility and acceptance of assignments and schedules
Maintains professional behavior and appearance
Exhibits dependability
Strong organizational skills
Able to work well with diverse groups
Self-starter; able to make decisions independently
Preferred
Students with Junior or Senior standing are preferred
Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or Canva skills preferred
