They are seeking a dynamic and versatile communicator to join their Global Communications team as a full-time Co-Op, where the individual will gain hands-on experience in editorial, strategy, content creation, media relations, and employee communications.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing communication strategies to promote and protect our brand reputation.
Write engaging and informative stories for our website and blogs.
Draft copy for social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.
Support media relations efforts, including drafting press releases and pitches.
Assist with internal communication efforts, such as employee newsletters and intranet updates.
Qualification
Required
Demonstrates excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to tailor written communications for different audiences and channels.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms
Analytical thinking, research and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management, organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Demonstrates professional maturity and confidence in executive-facing interactions.
Adaptable and willing to take on challenging projects, propose new solutions and be proactive in seeking clarity.
Must be a student currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program, or graduated from a degreed college/university program within the last 24 months - Grad Student, Graduating Senior or Recent Graduate Preferred
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Must be able to fill role full-time for 6 months.
Must be based in Atlanta, GA, or willing to relocate.
This role is on-site, and expected to report in person
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Preferred
Media relations experience
Graphic design skills and/or Adobe Creative Suite experience
AP Style knowledge
Familiarity with measurement and analytics tools
