AstraZeneca is seeking undergraduate or masters-level students for a 12-week internship role in Commercial Insights & Analytics. The role involves executing market research, presenting findings to stakeholders, and building predictive models to assess brand performance.
Responsibilities
Execute primary market research and deliver relevant, actionable, differentiating insights – inclusive of brand positioning, HCP/Patient segmentation, creative concept testing, target patient identification, KPI tracking and forecast demand studies
Summarize and present findings through various communication channels; be able to “tell the story” to senior stakeholders
Collect, assess, and deliver global and/or regional brand performance metrics
Build predictive models to assess brand performance, uncover prescriber behavior through syndicated datasets.
Assist in developing product volume forecasts to feed into strategic and operational planning processes.
Use SQL, Python or R to extract data and perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns relevant to sales performance.
Specific projects can include positioning, HCP and patient segmentations, unbranded and branded lexicon and message testing, creative concept testing, target patient identification, KPI tracking and demand studies.

Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or masters-level (non-MBA) students majoring in sciences, business administration, mathematics/statistics, computer science, or a related field
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2026
Understanding of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
Coding skills such as Python, C++, or SQL
US Work Authorization is required at time of application
Ability to report onsite to Wilmington, DE 3-5 days a week
