They are seeking a Business Intelligence Communication Intern to help identify, summarize, and publicly share insights from various data sources aligned with the company’s strategic areas of focus.
Responsibilities
Identify relevant, publicly available data from various sources such as news outlets, industry reports, government publications, and social media related to our strategic areas of focus.
Summarize and synthesize key insights from gathered information, ensuring clarity and relevance for various stakeholders.
Develop concise, engaging, and informative posts based on research findings, to be shared publicly on company websites, blogs, social media channels, or internal platforms.
Ensure all content is aligned with the company’s current strategic initiatives and priorities.
Track emerging trends and news related to our industry and strategic focus areas, summarizing key findings for further distribution.
Work closely with business intelligence, communications, and marketing teams to ensure research outputs meet both business objectives and communication standards.
Assist in organizing and maintaining a repository of shared content, ensuring easy access and consistency across all communication platforms.
Provide support for other communication or research tasks as needed, assisting with content creation or analysis requests from other teams.
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in related field of science in a recognized academic institution in the USA.
Strong interest in research, data analysis, and communication.
Ability to summarize complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with social media platforms and content management tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Creative thinking and a proactive approach to content development.
Ability to work between 15-20 hours per week while pursuing a degree.
Preferred
Knowledge of industry trends and current events in the Life Sciences Industry is a plus.
Previous market research experience through courses, projects, or internships is a plus.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or infographic design is a plus.
