Textron is a company focused on aviation and product marketing, seeking a Product Marketing Associate Intern. The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop and execute marketing initiatives that align with strategic business focuses and create compelling marketing materials.
Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of marketing elements within the annual marketing plan and go-to-market strategies for products which aligns with the strategic business focuses.
High level of collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Content & Digital, Brand, Trade Shows & Events, Communications, Technical Marketing, Sales, the business teams as well as creative, media and printing agencies.
Aid in the development of compelling stories or unique selling proposition for the products, backed by facts and analysis coordinated with the product's overall brand message.
Works with outside vendors to supply various graphic needs of the department.
Works with minimum supervision using Textron policies and departmental procedures to design and create graphic design projects for internal groups and departments.
Maintains top proficiency in all the technical and mechanical areas related to job scope.
Creates marketing materials, banners, posters, and visuals to support trade shows and customer events.
Actively engages in personal development.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or other related field
Marketing experience preferred
Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
Strong team player; especially in cross-functional teams
Strong project management skillset, including the ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences
Professional and diplomatic demeanor
Strong sense of accountability
Negotiation skills
Presentation confidence
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager
Preferred
Aviation knowledge including basic flight school completion is helpful but not required
