The State University of New York is seeking a Slate Intern to support the administration and ongoing development of the Slate CRM platform. This role involves assisting with database management, communications workflows, quality assurance, reporting, and user support within Slate, providing hands-on experience in higher education technology.

- Assist with daily maintenance and support of the Slate CRM database
- Review, update, and organize records to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Support the creation and testing of forms, queries, reports, and communication campaigns
- Assist with validating data
- Conduct quality assurance testing for workflows, portals, and communications
- Help document business processes, procedures, and training materials
- Respond to basic user support requests and troubleshoot issues under supervision
- Support special projects related to admissions, recruitment, communications, and CRM optimization
- Maintain confidentiality and security of student and institutional data
Qualification
Required
- Current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at a SUNY institution
Preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfort working with databases, spreadsheets, and technology platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Interest in higher education administration, data systems, communications, or information technology
- Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- CRM or database platforms
- HTML/CSS basics
- Data analysis or reporting tools
- Slate by Technolutions experience
Benefits
- Hours are flexible. Typically averaging 20 hours per week.
