The Data Analyst Co-op will extract actionable insights from data, develop tools and software for data collection and analysis, and support product development teams through collaboration with engineering and analytics groups.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, model and analyze data using programming languages and data analysis software
Maintain and improve features within existing codebases
Design and develop software to facilitate the collection and analysis of data from various phases of product development and post sales
Collaborate with Development, Test, and Field Engineers
Collaborate within cross-functional analytics community to share findings and best practices

Qualification

Required

Must be enrolled and pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Data Science or related program at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
Proficiency in Python, Pandas, and data visualization tools (e.g. Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly); familiarity with Power BI is a plus
Co-ops are not enrolled in academic courses during their co-op rotation and may work up to 40 hours per week

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Analytical problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Curious, eager to learn, and adaptable to new tools and challenges

Preferred

Experience with SQL and relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with modern software development workflows, including Docker, Git/GitHub, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of machine learning principles
