Responsibilities
Assist in identifying, analyzing, and documenting program operational characteristics, gaining valuable insights into coding and cybersecurity
Shadow key stages of application implementation — from requirements definition to design, development, testing, and data migration — enhancing your understanding of the full lifecycle
Contribute to essential activities such as system configurations and management tools, including backup and recovery processes, while strengthening your skills and supporting system integrity
Engage in hands-on experiences with cloud platforms and foundational concepts in data science and AI ethics
Participate in the development and execution of test groups, including automation and test cases, and present your findings for a well-rounded internship experience

Knowledge of basic AI concepts, ethics, methodologies, and basic data science concepts
Minimum Required Education: High school diploma and active enrollment in a higher education degree program in a relevant field

Required Work Location: These positions, anticipated to start in 2026, will be based at the Monroe, Louisiana Client Innovation Center
Candidates must be local to their assigned Client Innovation Center location or willing to relocate prior to the start date at their own expense
On average, employees are expected to work on-site at the local IBM office at least three days per week
While this role typically involves minimal business travel, candidates should be willing to travel up to 100% if required, depending on work assignments
