As a Technical Business Analyst Intern, you will centralize and automate data reporting capabilities, optimize reporting workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data accessibility for decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
Analyze Medidata's repository of historical clinical trials data using cloud-based technologies (AWS, Snowflake)Develop centralized data reporting solutions (dashboards, visualizations, automated reporting) to provide insights that guide the decision-making processes of partners
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather data reporting requirements and deliver solutions that solve for their needs
Evaluate and improve existing operational processes through automation
Document operational processes, workflows, and best practices, including SOPs and detailed work instructions
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's (business administration, management information systems, computer science, engineering, statistics or a related field)
Experience as a business analyst, data analyst or product manager on a data science team or managing analytics for operational based software (e.g. CTMS, EDC)
Can translate technical information and processes to non-technical audiences, and to describe business problems and use cases to technical audiences
Experience in SQL and other programming languages (e.g. SAS, Python, R)
Data visualization experience using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight
Knowledge of ETL processes
Familiarity with Cloud-based platforms and data storage solutions (e.g. AWS, Snowflake)
Familiarity with Atlassian product suite (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
