Stryker develops life-changing medical technologies and provides interns with opportunities to contribute to meaningful healthcare projects. The Data Analytics Intern will support business analytics, data intelligence, and information technology initiatives by transforming data into insights, developing dashboards, and improving decision-making and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Apply classroom knowledge and gain experience in a fast-paced and growing industry setting
Implement new ideas, be constantly challenged, and develop your skills
Network with key/high-level stakeholders and leaders of the business
Be a part of an innovative team and culture
Experience documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear format
Visualize and translate data into actionable insights for cross-functional leaders and teams
Provide reporting, content, and tools that increase sales productivity and effectiveness while streamlining processes and metrics
Help deliver trusted, high-quality data that enables scalability, process excellence, and improved partner experiences
Analyze diverse data sources to support business growth strategies by reducing time spent on data preparation and increasing focus on insights and foresight
Develop dashboards and visualizations of internal datasets that support informed decision-making across business units and for customers
Partner with IT teams to leverage emerging technologies and analytics to deliver quality data, trusted information, and innovative tools that support Stryker’s growth objectives
Qualification
Required
Majors Targeted: Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (MIS), Statistics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Finance
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship
Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment
