Kenworth Truck Company, a PACCAR company, is hiring a Data Analytics Intern to support business and manufacturing teams through data analysis, reporting, and process automation. The intern will identify trends, develop visualizations, automate data processes, and provide insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
Automate manual data pulls
Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
Present information using data visualization techniques
Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
Collaborate with manufacturing and business teams
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience in Data Visualization and Analysis
Knowledge of R, Snowflake, SQL and Python
Proficient in using SQL code in development of complex queries
Experience using PowerBI business intelligence tool and Tableau
Background in using Low-Code Software for Application development
Analytical mind and business acumen
Problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication and presentation skills
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
Bachelor's Degree in progress focusing on Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields
Preferred
familiarity with Java or C++ is an asset
Junior or senior standing preferred
