Western Digital is a company dedicated to powering global innovation and technology. They are seeking an intern to assist with building and maintaining data pipelines, supporting data ingestion, and conducting analysis to support projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Assist in building, maintaining, and monitoring data pipelines
Support data ingestion from multiple sources into data warehouses or data lakes
Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and analysis
Help ensure data quality, reliability, and documentation of datasets
Assist with quantitative and qualitative analysis to support ongoing projects and strategic initiatives
Support senior analysts and team members with ad-hoc requests and reporting
Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders when appropriate
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar tools is a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
