As a Research Networks Analyst Intern, you will analyze bibliometric data and prepare reports to characterize international research collaborations, contributing to the Global Strategic Networks team.
Responsibilities
Using Scopus, SciVal, and other Elsevier products, along with AI-driven data analysis tools, to assist a leading research institution with research data and strategic data analysis. The goal is to illustrate the strengths and opportunities of international research collaborations to create value metrics.
Preparing infographics, reports, and presentations, making them accessible to internal and appropriate external parties.
Supporting the GSN team in its interactions with research organizations to provide a deeper understanding of collaboration patterns and strategic opportunities.
Qualification
Required
Be a current student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in STEM such as data science, computer science, data analytics, quantitative social science, library/information science, or a related field graduating May 2026 or later.
Be a self-starter who is comfortable working alone as well as with a team.
Possess solid communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written).
Demonstrate solid multitasking and deadline management skills.
Be able to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Be a quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and software.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
Experience with Tableau, SQL, and/or STS is advantageous.
Experience with data visualization, research analytics, and data analytics is advantageous.
