WorldQuant is a company that develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a broad range of asset classes and global markets. They are seeking a Quantitative Project Management Intern to support key initiatives across the investment organization, requiring a highly analytical and motivated individual with a strong interest in finance and technology.
Responsibilities
Support of management teams on strategic, operational, and analytical initiatives
Help align project deliverables with broader program goals and outcomes
Design, build, and enhance systematic project dashboards
Perform analysis, reporting, and tracking across key initiatives
Support new program development including requirements analysis, team formation, and working group management
Assist with cross-project resource planning and management
Identify risks, surface issues, and help drive solutions
Support stakeholder communication and cross-functional problem-solving
Help refine newsletter generation and broader content creation processes
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering)
Expected graduation by the end of 2026
Financial market knowledge is a must
Interest in the Finance/Tech industry
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
Strong analytical skills and sound judgement, with close attention to detail
Mature, thoughtful, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Basic experience with Python and Jupyter notebooks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable presenting ideas and updates in meetings with key stakeholders
