As a Summer Intern in the TECAS Project Management Office, you will leverage your enthusiasm for data science and analytics to develop dashboards and reports from existing data related to New Product Development processes.
Responsibilities
Create informative dashboards and reports using data from New Product Development processes.
Collaborate with project management leadership to identify valuable information for stakeholders.
Engage in self-directed learning of analytics software such as PowerBI, Tableau and/or Smartsheet.
Conduct online research to resolve issues and enhance analytical outputs.
Maintain professional conduct and integrity in all interactions with team members and leadership.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college pursuing a degree in Economics, Mathematics, STEM, Business, or a related field, with good academic standing.
Ability to work independently on multiple projects, demonstrating a strong attention to detail.
Genuine passion for data analytics and data science.
Proactive self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong critical thinking abilities, capable of approaching problems from various perspectives.
Resourceful in overcoming obstacles and troubleshooting issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, with a strong desire to learn PowerBI, Smartsheet, or Tableau.
Ability to convey complex concepts into clear and intuitive insights, both verbally and through visual presentations (dashboards, PowerPoint, etc.).
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
