Kenworth Truck Company is the manufacturer of The World’s Best® heavy and medium duty trucks. PACCAR Electronics Organization is seeking a talented individual to join their Summer 2025 Internship Program as a Data Analytics Intern, where they will develop statistical analysis across multiple data sources to improve the performance and operation of PACCAR products.
Responsibilities
Analysis of large data sets generated by vehicle remote diagnostics
Proactively identifies and recommends analysis improvements
Creates reports and presents findings to multiple levels of management
Qualification
Required
Third or fourth year of bachelor’s degree completed (graduation date 2025 – 2026) in one of the following STEM disciplines: Data Analytics, Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Software, Mechanical), Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
Demonstrate a high level of independence, motivation, and excellent analytical and written communication skills, alongside sound engineering judgment
Demonstrated team player with a high level of initiative, follow-through, and flexibility
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving skills and a drive to develop innovative solutions
Self-directed, excellent analysis and technical judgment required
Proficiency in presentation skills is required
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Competency with standard office software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)
Able to learn and use new processes and techniques and resourcefully solve complex technical issues
Commitment to reliability, value, and quality in all aspects of work
Willingness to grow continuously, both personally and professionally with strong results and goal-driven orientation
Preferred
Proficient in SQL for querying and optimizing databases to extract meaningful insights
Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI for data visualization and reporting purposes
