Colgate-Palmolive Company is a global consumer products company specializing in Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Skin Care, and Pet Nutrition. They are seeking a motivated individual for a Spring 2026 Network Data Analytics Internship within their Global Information Technology organization, focusing on data analysis and automation to enhance WAN circuit inventory management.
Responsibilities
Analyzing existing WAN circuit inventory data for completeness, accuracy, and opportunities for optimization
Developing and implementing scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate the retrieval, reconciliation, and validation of WAN circuit inventory from various sources (e.g., vendor portals, internal databases)
Designing and creating dashboards or reports (e.g., Splunk, Google Sheets) to visualize key WAN circuit metrics, track service expiration dates
Collaborating with the Wide Area Network Team to streamline the circuit ordering, provisioning, and decommissioning processes using automation tools
Participating in the evaluation of new tools and processes for circuit inventory management and network data analytics
Learning about Palo Alto SD-WAN and advanced networking technologies/operations
Assisting on Capacity Planning utilizing utilization reports from Palo Alto
Assisting with InfoSec Audit Actions related to circuit inventory documentation and security compliance
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a graduation date of May 2026 or later
Pursuing a major in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business/IT Systems Management or related fields
A minimum of 2.8 GPA
Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
Technical knowledge and skills, completed course work, projects, or relevant work related experience
Must be available to work hybrid at our Piscataway, NJ office location at least once a week between Monday-Thursday
This position requires a 6-month commitment (January-June)
Must be available to work up to 20 hours/week during the academic year
