Responsibilities
Participate in data analysis for vulnerability management and remediation efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, architecture, operations) to resolve security issues.
Support monitoring and alert management for security tools and platforms.
Help develop and maintain security documentation and technical reports.
Conduct research on emerging threats and technologies to inform security strategies.
Engage in testing and validation of security controls and automation scripts.
Share your project outcomes and learning experiences with peers and leaders at the end of the program.
Qualification
Required
Must have an expected graduation date no later than June 2028.
Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
Understanding of cybersecurity concepts through coursework or hands-on experience (risk, vulnerabilities, controls).
Coursework or experience with at least one scripting language.
Desire for continuous learning in cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux).
Demonstrates strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with a high level of curiosity.
Preferred
Experience with Python, PowerShell, or SQL.
Exposure to cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Experience leveraging AI/ML tools.
Knowledge of Azure DevOpS.
