Tractor Supply Company is a rural lifestyle retailer hiring interns for its 2027 Information Technology Summer Internship Program. The IT Intern will gain hands-on experience in areas such as software engineering, data and analytics, infrastructure and cloud technologies, information security, technical support, and project management while contributing to technology initiatives and developing technical and professional skills.
Responsibilities
Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and technology issues while supporting end users and business operations
Software Development: Support software development projects through coding, testing, debugging, and application enhancements
Data & Analytics: Assist with data analysis, reporting, and identifying insights that support business decisions
Infrastructure Management: Gain exposure to network infrastructure and server administration tasks, including maintenance and monitoring
Information Security: Support cybersecurity initiatives and gain exposure to processes designed to identify, assess, and mitigate technology risks
Project & Process Support: Collaborate with IT and cross-functional partners on technology projects, process improvements, documentation, and strategic initiatives
Learning & Development: Actively participate in opportunities to expand technical knowledge, business acumen, and professional skills
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or related fields
Foundational understanding of technology concepts, systems, software, or programming relevant to the area of interest
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and work with new technologies and tools
Ability to relocate to the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship
