The IT Intern in Data Engineering will gain real-world experience through participation in systems analysis, data integration, and programming while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
Participate in systems analysis and design working sessions
Develop data flow diagrams based on understanding of systems
Work with the teams to gather details on new system design and data integration processes
Analyze data sets to identify patterns and insights
Perform basic python programming for processing data sets
Work with teams across the org to fulfil ad hoc process/report requests
Write SQL statements to extract data for reporting
Qualification
Required
Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry
Resourceful, enthusiastic, and proactive
Highly organized
Demonstrated strong attention to detail
Experience creating and delivering presentations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to learn quickly and solve problems
Strong analytical skills
Collaborative and inclusive team player
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
