Del Monte Foods is a multi-national food company dedicated to making nutritious foods accessible through its beloved brands. The IT Intern will support data-related projects by assisting in data collection, analysis, and visualization, while also contributing to process improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

Assist in collecting, cleaning, and maintaining data from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Perform data analysis using tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Support the creation of dashboards and reports to communicate insights effectively.
Assist in documenting and mapping business processes to identify areas for improvement.
Identify and correct data inconsistencies and errors to ensure data quality.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and ensure data consistency.
Support the development and implementation of automated processes to streamline data workflows and reduce manual effort.
Regularly report on progress to management, providing updates on data integration, automation, and insights.

Qualification

Required

Undergraduate or graduate student attending an accredited program.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, and any analytical and visualization tools.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Data Management: Understanding of data integrity, consistency, and data quality concepts.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other teams.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve data-related issues.
Process Mapping: Knowledge of process mapping techniques and tools.
Data Visualization: Experience with creating reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
