They are seeking an IT Data Analyst Intern to support data analysis and vendor management activities, where the intern will gain hands-on experience working with Excel and SAP systems to manage and analyze data.
Responsibilities
Assist with data analysis activities using Excel to support business needs
Perform data functions such as VLOOKUPs, data transposition, and consolidation across multiple files
Extract, organize, and analyze vendor-related data from SAP systems
Maintain accuracy and integrity of data while managing large datasets
Support procurement and financial data processes through reporting and analysis
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of data-related tasks
Identify discrepancies in data and assist with data clean-up and validation efforts
Gain exposure to SAP processes, particularly within procurement and financial modules
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and efficiency in completing assigned tasks
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, data transposition, and working with large datasets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage and organize data accurately and efficiently across multiple sources
Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and reporting
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Interest in learning SAP, particularly within procurement and financial processes
Rising Juniors or Seniors pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
