The IT Application Development Intern will gain practical experience in technical and interpersonal skills while assisting in documenting business procedures, researching new technologies, and participating in strategic initiatives within the bank.
Responsibilities
Assists Business Analysts in documenting current business procedures and processes
Assists in the creation of documentation and definitions for technical systems, processes, business rules and data
Researching new technologies and components
Ensure Application information is correct and updated as required
Creating PowerPoints regarding our business case
Special Project work related to strategic initiatives within the bank – could be related to Channel applications, Loan Systems, Mobile / Online Banking, CRM, Operations
Monthly Executive Review meetings and QBR reporting
Qualification
Required
An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between either December 2026 or May/June 2027
Area of Study: Information Technology, IT Program Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or any other related major of study
Cumulative GPA is 3.0 or above
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage
Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required
Analytical thinkers with a strong attention to detail
Organized and able to manage time and multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently on special projects
Ability to effectively contribute to a team environment
Preferred
Coursework in or exposure to accounting, finance, economics, or business.
Experience in Microsoft Office products.
Exposure to any of the following Language or Systems: Python, SQL, JIRA, AWS Bedrock, IBM WatsonX, Insight Fluid, ChatGPT, CoPilot
