SECU is a credit union that believes in the philosophy of 'People Helping People.' They are seeking an intern for the Fall 2026 semester to provide project-based learning and real-world experience, with the goal of identifying early talent for future roles.
Responsibilities
Responsible for assigned project-based research and presentation to be shared with leadership at the conclusion of the program
Obtain entry-level exposure to the functions of an Associate IT Data Analyst
Data acquisition, preparation, cleaning, integration, and cataloging
Power BI reporting - Power Query, DAX, visualizations
Python scripting and version control
Operational process analysis and improvement
Perform administrative duties including mailings and imaging documents and other clerical duties as assigned
Collaborate effectively and professionally with internal coworkers and departments across the organization to aid in research and development of projects
Qualification
Required
Data Analytics or Data Science-related major
Must be 18 years or older
Currently enrolled full-time at a US – NC based accredited university/college
Must commit to a 10 - 12 week internship program
Must commit to at least 10 hours per week
GPA of 2.8 or higher
Authorized to work in the Unites States without Sponsorship now or in the future or without receiving CPT/OPT through university/college
Must be a rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student
