Responsibilities
Learn how to work with large and complicated data sets.
Build data sets and perform applied econometric analysis.
Collaborate with economists, scientists, and product managers.
Formalize problem definitions from ambiguous requirements.
Build models using Amazon’s world-class data systems.
Develop solutions for non-standard problems.
Qualification
Required
PhD student in Economics (enrolled in 3rd year or more and not currently on the job market)
Preferred
Experience with SQL
Experience working with large data sets
Knowledge of econometrics
Familiarity with Python
