The Intern, Data Analyst will support the enterprise health plan delivery team by assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting to help improve health outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities
Responsible for performing research, assisting with data collection, ingestion, preparing reports, attending meetings, implementing, and tuning workflow scripts. Utilizing AI resources in data collection.
Work with team members and stakeholders to understand business questions and help find data-driven answers.
Write SQL queries to explore data, identify trends, and enrich data.
Develop/Contribute to scripts to improve workflows or analysis tasks.
Enrich (cross reference data sources) and normalize large data sets
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
Familiarity with Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio); advanced Excel skills required
Strong mathematics and statistics abilities
Understanding of relational database systems and the ability to query and analyze raw data for validation purposes
Experience in building reports and dashboards in self-service reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Birst, etc.)
