Responsibilities
The Data Analysis Intern will support execution of the established business intelligence strategy for their unit within Parks Tacoma.
Under the direction of the assigned department/division supervisor and the Data Analysis Coordinator, the Data Analysis Intern will have the opportunity to learn and apply knowledge of PowerBI, SQL querying, and ARCGIS story maps, while delivering analytics and data visualizations internally for their department.
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
Interact professionally with other employees and vendors.
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
Observe applicable safety requirements, use safety equipment provided, implement appropriate safety practices and report immediately any unsafe working conditions or hazards.
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of PowerBI
Knowledge of SQL querying
Knowledge of ARCGIS story maps
Ability to perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
Ability to interact professionally with other employees and vendors
Ability to work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
