Zayo is a leading provider of mission-critical bandwidth for impactful companies. They are seeking a Commercial Strategy & Planning Intern to enhance customer data analytics, support business data requests, and integrate data into models for strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Contribute to optimization of DS models by identifying key data attributes and strategizing opportunities, focusing on TAS (Total Addressable Spend.)
Conduct research, collect, prepare, and organize data for integration into DS models and strategic projects.
Collaborate cross-functionally to refine target criteria and customer profiles across multiple product lines.
Own preparation and validation of internal reporting data to support various commercial strategies and business initiatives, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Qualification
Required
Applicants must have completed their sophomore year and be enrolled in a degree or certificate seeking program for the fall semester of 2025.
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Understanding of data analytics concepts, data flows, and dependencies.
Passion for working with raw data and to answer business questions.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Self-starter, able to work independently, drive excellence, and meet deadlines.
Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred
Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, Dataiku or similar tools is a plus.
Familiarity with Python is plus.
