Volvo Group is hiring a Business Intelligence Developer Intern to support the Volvo Trucks North America Sales Engineering team. The role focuses on developing analytical solutions and transforming data into insights that support business and commercial decisions.
Responsibilities
Assist with the development of reports, dashboards, automations, and analytical solutions
Transform data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights that support business and commercial decisions
Identify opportunities to improve reporting, business processes, and decision-making through automation and data analytics
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to practical, scalable data solutions
Document analytical methods, data sources, and solution requirements to support ongoing use and continuous improvement
Communicate findings through concise visualizations, summaries, and presentations
Qualification
Required
You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Business Information Technology, Business Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
Preferred
We would also value coursework, project experience, or familiarity with one or more of the following:
Power BI, SQL, Azure Databricks, Power Automate, Microsoft SharePoint, Python
Querying, combining, and analyzing data from multiple sources
Data visualization and dashboard design
Statistical concepts and techniques, including regression, probability distributions, and hypothesis testing
Requirements gathering, process documentation, or workflow automation
