Howmet Aerospace is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. They are seeking an Intern – Applications to assist in the development and troubleshooting of Oracle Test Scripts, engage in testing and debugging ECC Dashboards, and contribute to documentation and deployment of ECC dashboards.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development of Oracle Test Scripts
Troubleshooting and verifying current Oracle Test Scripts
Assist in the decommission of outdated Oracle customizations
Develop custom Oracle Enterprise Command Center (ECC) Dashboards
Engage in testing and debugging ECC Dashboards
Contribute to the documentation of utilizing ECC
Assist with deploying ECC dashboards
Collaborate with supervisors, business units, and resource unit leaders
Support and enhance existing systems and information technologies
Learn the location & company’s standards, procedures, and technologies
Consult and interact with Howmet’s global business customers and company user groups to gather requirements and to solicit feedback on the success of delivered products
Analysis, design, system development, and life-cycle methodologies
Translate customer business requirements into technical solutions identifying key deliverables
Hands On work with an ERP System, Oracle
Follow departmental processes procedures and produced required documentation
Work independently, directly with customers, as well as work group
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related IT field with an expected graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
Demonstrated internship, work, research, or extracurricular participation
A willingness to learn and take initiative to understand the business
Involved with at least 1 extracurricular activity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred
Previous internship in Information Technology with a global employer
A willingness to take initiative to understand the business
Aptitude for problem solving
Project experience with security tools or procedures
Previous reporting writing experience
