LPL Financial is a financial services company that provides technology, brokerage, and investment advisory services. The Data Analytics Intern will participate in the FAR Program and support one of LPL’s core analytics teams during a paid ten-week summer internship. The role includes work assignments, group projects, networking, mentorship, and learning sessions.
Responsibilities
As a Data Analytics intern within the FAR (Foundational Analyst Rotational) Program, participants will join us for a paid, ten-week summer internship on one of our Data teams
The internship experience includes networking, relevant work assignments, group projects, social and wellness events, mentorship, and other informative learning sessions with key leaders
The FAR Program assigns interns to a position supporting one of LPL’s core analytics teams based on your skillset, interests, and business needs
You will work on one team for the internship duration
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor's degree
3.0 GPA minimum
Intermediate knowledge of data visualization, tools, and languages (SQL, SAS, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, etc.)
agreement to be local to the Fort Mill/Charlotte office
Full - time position for 10 weeks in the summer of 2027; Monday through Friday, working 40 hours a week during business operating hours
Preferred
All majors are considered, but programs focusing in data science, computer science, business analytics, mathematics, or information systems are preferred
GPA of 3.3 or higher
Leadership experience through student organizations, internships, or projects
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 platforms
Effective communication, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
Passionate, driven, open to new opportunities, and proactive
