The Ops Digital Decision Science team is seeking a graduate-level Data Scientist intern to develop machine learning models, deliver insights, and create AI/ML solutions that improve airline performance and decision-making.
Responsibilities
Work within a team of data scientists to develop advanced analytics solutions for complex business problems
Collect data via SQL queries and perform exploratory data analysis
Present analysis to business owners using concise but compelling narrative and visuals
Learn new techniques within cloud-based platforms
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Computer Science
Experience working with relational databases (SQL)
Understanding of machine learning techniques (Python, SciKit Learn, or other machine learning platforms)
Good written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
Must be able to commit to the duration of the internship timeline: May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027
Must be able to work onsite in the Atlanta, GA office
