The Ops Digital Decision Science team is seeking a graduate-level Data Scientist intern to develop machine learning models, generate insights, and create solutions that improve airline performance and decision-making. The role involves advanced analytics, exploratory data analysis, business presentations, and learning cloud-based techniques.
Responsibilities
Work within a team of data scientists to develop advanced analytics solutions for complex business problems
Collect data via SQL queries and perform exploratory data analysis
Present analysis to business owners using concise but compelling narrative and visuals
Learn new techniques within cloud-based platforms
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Computer Science
Experience working with relational databases (SQL)
Understanding of machine learning techniques (Python, SciKit Learn, or other machine learning platforms)
Good written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
Must be able to commit to the duration of the internship timeline: January 11, 2027 – May 7, 2027
Must be able to work onsite in the Atlanta, GA office
