The Grad Intern - Biostatistics role involves working closely with a senior-level statistician on the design and analysis of clinical trials and nonclinical research, providing valuable project experiences that impact patients' lives.
Responsibilities
This position will work closely with a senior-level statistician on topics related to the design and analysis of clinical trials and/or nonclinical research.
At the conclusion of the internship, this position will give a presentation summarizing the work completed during the program.
Qualification
Required
18 years or older
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Master’s OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts
Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment
Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship/co-op
Preferred
Pursuing a PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Mathematics
In the process of completing the third year of current program
Proficiency in SAS or R on either a UNIX or NT platform
Ability to lead and deliver results in an interactive matrixed environment
Strong written and oral communication skills, relationship building, and leadership skill
