UPS is one of the world’s largest providers of transportation and logistics services, and they are seeking an Engineering Co-Op to drive insights about their network. The role involves developing analytical models, collaborating with teams, and presenting data insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develops analytical models and data visualizations to drive analytic insights.
Interacts with cross-functional teams to model current operations processes and evaluate potential solutions.
Presents data insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Qualification
Required
Rising college junior or senior, graduate student or recent graduate within the last 24 months pursuing a degree in Engineering, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
Sufficient and effective knowledge and experience in programming and algorithms
Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business units and to different levels of management
Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to use within the workday to travel from building to building as needed
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
