Devon Energy is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Energy Marketing Summer Intern to join its Marketing and Midstream team. The intern will analyze energy marketing data, develop dashboards and reports, uncover business insights, and support decision-making while gaining hands-on experience with real-world datasets and analytical tools.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand data requirements and business objectives
Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities within business data to support decision-making
Develop data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate insights effectively
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to energy marketing, including pricing, supply/demand trends, and market performance
Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations for future reference and knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
* Full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related discipline
* College level: Sophomore, Junior
* Basic understanding of data analysis and data visualization
* Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner
* Interest in business operations and technology-driven solutions
* Willingness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively
Preferred
* GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
