RTX, through Pratt & Whitney, designs, manufactures, and services aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems while developing aerospace and defense technologies. The Digital Technology Intern will collaborate with a Digital Technology team to deliver digital technology solutions for business-critical projects across areas such as cybersecurity, data science, enterprise systems, infrastructure, product management, software development, and user experience design.
Responsibilities
The candidate will work closely with a Digital Technology team to deliver real results in the areas of business, technology, and process/project management
The candidate will be responsible for delivering successful digital technology solutions for business-critical projects in one of the following digital function areas:
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
Data Science & Analytics
Enterprise Business Systems
Infrastructure Services
Product Management
Software Development
User Experience Design
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree program in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or other Information Technology concentration and actively enrolled through completion of the internship
Experience with data analytics or general IT infrastructure
Minimum GPA of 3.0
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience
Proactive and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative
Preferred strong technical skills in design, development, big data/analytics, infrastructure, IT/Cybersecurity, etc
