Mass General Brigham specializes in providing medical treatments and health diagnostics services. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Platform and Azure Intern to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Fabric, focusing on security, cost optimization, and documentation.
Responsibilities
Perform a comprehensive review and optimization of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) permissions across our Azure subscription to ensure alignment with least privilege principles and industry best practices
Review Microsoft recommended best practices for Azure resources
Collaborate with the team to implement security improvements.
Analyze usage and costs across Azure services to identify opportunities for optimization.
Consolidate Azure recommendations to reduce cloud spending
Document findings and provide recommendations for enhancing Fabric security.
Review and update existing documentation for Azure and Fabric workflows, processes, and best practices.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure services
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
Interest in cloud security, cost optimization, and documentation.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
