H.B. Fuller is a global adhesives, coatings, and sealants company. The Demand Planning Intern will support the demand planning team by analyzing demand trends and forecast performance, improving Power BI dashboards and reporting, validating data, and exploring automation and AI-enabled planning tools. The role will provide recommendations and insights to demand planning, supply chain, and commercial stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Analyze demand planning data to identify trends, forecast gaps, customer and product patterns, and opportunities to improve planning accuracy
Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to improve visibility to demand trends, forecast performance, planning exceptions, and key business metrics
Clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources to support accurate reporting, analysis, and demand planning recommendations
Identify opportunities to automate recurring manual reports, forecast reviews, or exception tracking through Power BI, Excel, or AI-enabled tools
Apply AI concepts to explore practical use cases such as demand signal analysis, forecast summarization, exception reporting, and planning insight generation
Prepare clear summaries, visualizations, and recommendations for demand planning, supply chain, and commercial stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Rising junior or senior with an interest in demand planning, forecasting, analytics, data visualization, and business process improvement
Experience with Microsoft Excel required
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights
Effective communication, curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new digital tools, including AI-enabled solutions
Preferred
exposure to Power BI, data visualization, SQL, Python, or similar analytics tools preferred
